Drive inland toward Sri Lanka's cultural triangle. City edges turn into coconut palms, village roads and dramatic rock-country landscapes.

Visit Nine Arches Bridge, soak in Ella's mountain energy, then continue toward Udawalawe for one of Asia's best elephant safari experiences.

Udawalawe Safari to Mirissa

Head out on safari through Udawalawe National Park, known for elephants, open grasslands and big-sky landscapes. Later, drive to Mirissa for surf-town evenings.

Forts, Rivers & One Last Sunset

Indian travellers need an Electronic Travel Authorisation before arrival. The process is online and usually quick. Make sure your passport has at least 6 months validity from your travel date.
Expect tropical showers, especially around the western and southern coast. The island is lush and dramatic in green season, so pack a light rain jacket.
The scenic train route is part of the plan, but train tickets are subject to availability and are not included in the base price.
Yes. Sri Lankan food is excellent for vegetarians, with dhal curry, jackfruit, coconut sambol, vegetable kottu, string hoppers and more.
Carry both. Cards work in bigger towns and hotels, but cash is useful in smaller places, local restaurants and for small expenses.
